Auto gear box oil/fluid change
Hi all
Dose anyone have in detail the procedure for changing the oil/fluid on a gear box for a rover 75 2.0 kv6 auto please. |

The thread to which ceedy linked is not the standard method which a garage would use. Beinet1's method drains the entire contents of the gearbox and torque converter. It's a clever way to do it but the industry standard is to drain the gearbox and not worry about the fluid which is retained in the torque converter. 99% of cars with automatic transmission on the road will have had their fluid changed using the simpler method. If you look in the 'How to ...' section you will find the procedure. Simon
