Is there any way to watch NBC legally (and easily!) in the UK
I'm not a big sports fan, not by any stretch of the imagination, but I have always enjoyed watching the Tour De France
Until last year that is, when Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwen were replaced by Ned Boulting and David Millar on the commentary zzzzzzzzz I read that Phil was still doing commentary, with Paul Sherwen, on NBC For me, Phil Liggett makes the event (I know many hate his voice!) so didn't watch it last year. I'd like to see it this year, but can't find any way to get NBC - short of a quick holiday in America! Anyone got any ideas? Would it be possible to get it online perhaps? Any ideas welcomed!

Once upon a time it was just possible to receive satellite from the US here if you lived in the west of the country with a 2 metre dish when the transmissions were analogue and not encrypted.
That of course is not an option now. You may get it online but I've found that some broadcasters don't allow watching their material abroad. There are ways around it but probably not a thing that should be discussed on the forum.

That's fair enough! I want to watch it, but not enough to do anything illegal!

Last year my wife was able to download an app for the XBOX that let her watch baseball from the states. Have you looked on the NBC website to see if they have an app that works here?

We don't have an XBox, but there might be something available for PS, although ours is a PS3 (more likely that any app would be PS4?)

They don't have any Playstation support, and when I tried to watch an episode of Days of Our Lives on the pc, it said that the video was not available for my location. So unless you can get the android or iOs app to work it looks like you can't watch it in the UK.

There would be a way, although the legality I think would be a little grey (or gray? ) The last time I tried to view a US channel, it blocked me because of my location. I was told by the IT guys in work, that a VPN would work. Couldnt be bothered trying to be honest.
EDIT: looks like Ronnie has beaten me to it lol

Thanks for the ideas guys
Sounds more complex than I'd like tbh. Think the answer would be to live in America for a few weeks! (that's not going to happen!)
