Default Odd noises from the speakers

Hi,

Newbie on the forum having been a 75 diesel saloon owner for a matter of days.

I'm getting strange "beeps" and "clicks" every now and then from the radio

The unit is a Pioneer DEH 5000 UB which seems to be working perfectly.

It's like the unit is "picking up" random interference.

I was overtaken by a brand new BMW and that set it off good and proper

Any ideas or suggestions very welcome.

Thanks in advance

Andy.

Could be mobile data interference, try moving your mobile phone away from the unit when its happening

Yep, sounds like mobile data interference it's all over the place now. For a time I just thought it was the bluetooth on my own phone, but realised that it was more frequent in heavy traffic.

Thanks both.

Maybe it's because I dropped my phone onto the ledge just above the light switch rather than the door pocket?

I'll move it and see what happens.

Cheers.

Andy.
