Default ZT-T V's ZT 260 for handling etc

Just seen a ZT-T 260 on piston heads and was wondering if anyone can comment on it with regards to handling etc over the saloon? I know it will be slightly slower but how does it compare with handling as I remember the old Volvo's estates handled better than the saloons....

The estate is nearer a 50-50 weight distribution so should handle better. I think individual cars behave differently . My zt-t is quite difficult to unstick, but a friends saloon is very tail happy. I am sure this is down to individual car set up

Haven't driven the ZT-T but yes you can step the tail out on the ZT pretty easily - but once you learn the car (and your - the drivers) limits then they are great.

I've only driven the 260 in saloon form, but have owned both a saloon and tourer in the diesel, and although the tourer felt a little slower it definitely hung on better in the twisties.

I drove both just to see when I was looking to buy. I would have to say so long as they are not loaded there is nothing in it.

Yes. The ZTT is almost unstickable, even on the Track.
