I may be able to meet JDC In Colwyn to reduce his load a bit, then I would need someone near either the M6 or M61 going North to take over from me.

My Place to Johns is about 80 miles, then back to the M6 is another 60 miles ish. Idealy I need someone to meet me in the Warrington area, there is a large truck stop, cafe-filling station, at the junction where the M6 meets the M56. Or-- I could continue North untill someone can meet me?

That would end stage 5 = Colwyn to Chester. And begin stage 6 = Chester to Warrington.

any ideas?

Default North Wales

JDC are you going to manage the details of who, what, where, and when for this stage - time permitting?

Andy

Default Stage 5-6 handover Chester

Hi John,
Just read you were back and catching up so no urgency with this post. Just to let you know that james (JamesUK) is pencilled in for us at to begin our stage 6 at Chester. He will be running from Chester to M56-M6 interchange for us. He has however indicated that he is willing to do from Colwyn Bay to Chester if you so wish but obviously that is for you to consider.
Cheers
Mike

Stage 6 - Chester to Glasgow - 229 miles - 5.5 hours 2.00 pm - 7.30 pm (20th)
Stage 7 - Glasgow to Edinburgh - 403 miles - 10.0 hours 7.30 pm - 5.30 am (21st)
Stage 8 - Edinburgh to Boston - 274 miles - 8.0 hours 5.30 am - 1.30 pm (21st)
Stage 9 - Boston to Southend - 188 miles - 4.5 hours 1.30 pm - 6.00 pm 921st)
Stage 10 - Southend to Brighton - 121 miles - 3.0 hours 6.00 pm - 9.00 pm (21st)
Stage 11 - Brighton to Birmingham - 185 miles - 4.2 hours 9.00 pm - 1.00 am (22nd)
2230 miles - 55 hours = 40mph average speed

Having written this down, I'm getting very nervous.
Some very unsocialble hours - especially for Devon and Cornwall and Scotland. Plus I was hoping to get the time down to 48 hours, so this may well influence Stage route plans.
