Default Childrens Competition for the Haynes Meet

Finally, here it is!

For those who are bring family and children along to the Haynes meet (according to the registrations that is a good number of you) we have a special competition just for the children.

This takes the form of a colouring-in competition, all you need to do is download and print-out the attached PDF. It contains a feint picture of a loverly 75 - your kiddies (and I MEAN your kiddies!!) then need to colour this in, they can use whatever means they want to do it - crayon, pencil, watercolours, stick stuff on, etc. etc. use your imagination!!

This is the picture (please download the PDF for the actual high-res version):

Be sure to fill in the names and other details on the form too pelase!

On the day, there will be a box to place these competition entries into and we will collect these right up until about 2pm - at that point an unbiased jury of the children's peers - my children Stuart and Gwyneth - will confer and they will award TWO PRIZES - we have a boy category and a girl category prize.

The prizes are as below:

The Barbie doll pink sports car is for the girls (in case you haven't guessed!) and even has folding mirrors!

The two model cars, both Vanguards and in collectors cases (although they can be taken out and played with dads!) are of a BRG facelift 75 and a Trophy Blue ZT - very nice indeed as can be seen in the following pictures! (I actually went away and bought myself one each too as I couldn't part with them! )

Everyone is eligible to take part (children I mean!) even mods/admins with children - my two excepted of course

So, download the PDF print it out and get colouring in! and don't forget to bring it with you on the day!

If anyone has any problems downloading or printing the file PM me and I will sort it out for you.

Finally, it would be nice to have an idea of how many children will be taking part so an indication by you on this thread would be useful (although not necessary) - no need to mention children's names if you don't wish just an indication of participation in each category. This thread will stay open right the way through to the Haynes meet.

See you all there.

Hmm!? I think we will have to ask her that on her own - away from any influences otherwise by dad who may be a tad biased ....

I forgot to add, judges decision is final!
