Default Best car of the show award poll

Hello everyone

This poll is for all those intending to go to the Haynes meet on March the 18th. Since last year the Owners Club Car of the Show award has been presented by the club to the owner of the car voted best car by the members actually attending the meet. This was won last year by Alex and the prize was a Haynes manual. From this year on the prize will be an engraved cup for the winner to keep.

We need your help on this though...........

Do you want the cup presented on the day to keep with 'Members car of the show award 2007'

or do you want the cup presented and then posted at a later date to you with your name and car reg number engraved as well as the rest?

At the moment there are 50 cars registered so only those attending or wishing to attend to vote please

Thanks

The owners club

Hi Ken,
I reckon a cup presented on the day would be fine. Easier and cheaper than the other option.

Now, I must get back to my polishing.......

Pete.

Pete you can only win once

Ken i would like to see the Club members name on the cup, if the cup is to be used for years to come it would be nice to look back and see some of old names on it

maybe you could give the winner the cup and let them get it engraved.

There will be one cup per year Kandy as to get one back at the end will be too much trouble if the winner has moved, gone off with a Thai bride, sold his or her car, moved to Thailand or gone to that great big car park in the sky

or bought a Renault

Everyone remember to click the poll please

I like the Kandyman suggestion of retaining the cup with past winners listed.
Just a thought, why not engrave & retain the cup,but allow the winner to use a photo of it as their Avatar just for that year.
It would give the award a wider audience than just those that attended.

I think that there should be only one cup to be presented to that winner for the day handed back after the meet to the club to be engraved and held by the club till 2008 and possibly a plaque like the one we had at Gaydon for him/her to keep
