I have been looking today. I need the same box.
It is the correct one. That is the one for a diesel. A diesel has a "drive by wire" system, therefore it is different than the usual petrol ones. Petrol's need often a mechanical unit. In the diesel accelerator is a potmeter, not a steel cable. The box you mention is also present in a landrover freelander You should be able to get one via e-bay. Or local scrapjards / car breakers. Keith, how's the car going?
SCB100211 and SCB100212 are part numbers for the cruise interface for the deisel. http://www.mgf.ultimatemg.com/ztt/cruise_control/ Russ
