Just to clarify The Wessex Car Show is normally held in Dorset but this year it is at Breamore House Nr Fordingbridge Hampshire, which I believe puts it in the London and the South area this year...So maybe that's the place to start Bill.
Yes I got the email as well.. Cheers Ian House, Breamore Park, Nr. Fordingbridge, Hants. SP6 2DF |

Yes, I did put up the Link to the Event on my post. Anyway, I hope something is organised as it's a great show and venue! I still remember the first one I went to 4 years ago! How time flies hey...... Cheers....

So, I gather that the 'Club' won't be entering as a Group Stand this year?
The closing date is the 16th I believe.

Hi Bill The "CLUB" has never entered a group stand at the Wessex show it has only ever been arranged by a club member as an unofficial event..If you feel that there should be a 75/ZT presence this year then just start a list for those that would like to attend.. It's as simple as that mate.. Take care and I hope to see you at the national. Cheers Ian |

Yes, I realised that Ian, when I said club I meant as a collective of members, not the club as a business.
But I feel that without the bunting and other equipment that I understand the RS holds it's all a bit useless really and a non starter. Yes, hope to see you at the National.

An RS that has flags etc only has these items because he has bought them at his own expense (as I did when I was RS) there are many successful meets held around the country with out any such items. Cheers Ian |

Indeed, up here, the North West regional secretary has nothing in the way of banners or flags, but the meets are always well attended. Even by non members.

The area I cover is East & North London plus Essex, although I do post up "The Halfway House" meets in the South East Section. Shiner & Harrisop cover West & South London plus Surrey.
Mamasboy covers Sussex and Kent. As far as I'm aware no-one covers Hampshire itself. On the regional secretaries map it shows the following, the counties that border Hampshire are: Sussex- Mamasboy Surrey - Shiner & Harrisop Berkshire - Might come under Shiner and Harrisop's area Wiltshire & Bristol - Nev the Bear Dorset - GazzaV6 But he has now stepped down. Ratty covers Devon & Cornwall which does not border with Hampshire. I notice that Borobrindo organises a regular mid week meet in Southampton at a Hotel. As it has been stated many times before, anyone can set up a meet or organise a stand at a show. You can however contact the nearest RS and ask for help or failing that contact a Mod, who will basically tell you the same as I have. I hope this clarifies the situation.
