Advice of filling CDT gearbox
I thought I'd posted this earlier but cant find it.
the Haynes Manuel says 1.6L dry or 1.4 for a refill and that I should be able to feel the oil just below the fill plug but I cant. Can I just put in 1.6L? Even with 1.6L I cant feel the oil. Is 1.6L correct? thanks macafee2 |

Pretty sure i filled mine to the level of the filler plug , 1.6L doesn't sound a lot for the size of the gearbox

As the filler is also the level hole then I would fill until it flows over (or almost). Don't trust the Haynes....
