Default AA breakdown/repair, Damn you Rover

I took out the AA breakdown and repair cover about 30k ago and am getting a bit miffed, £16 a month and not even a hiccup from the 75. I was thinking about stopping it but sods law says if I do the car will have a major failure. I took it out as I was doing lots of miles and a lot of it on the M25 and didnt like the idea of being stranded there. I still think its a great deal, but only if you have a lesser car than a Rover.

Nice one gave me a chuckle, and the thought, do you feel the same way about your life assurance cover?

As far as life assurance is concerned I may as well cancel that, at least with the AA I get something out of it. If I die Im not going to benefit from life assurance, Hmmmm wheres my phone

My other half got your share. She'd taken it out 5 weeks before the head gasket went on her MGF. Result, especially as I told her not to bother as it wasn't worth it!

To be honest I think recovery is worth having to get you home but the 5 or 6 times I've used them on my VW camper and my Scooter the "technician" has had less idea than me and they have never got my vehicle going at the roadside then they have to radio for a tow truck and I have to wait again.
