Blue skies, sunshine and fresh air. What more do we need? Happy Thursday!

And then I'll hold you in my dreams

You might want to keep an eye on the weather for Mon/Tue though
We have the same weather today, but rain forecast tomorrow and wet on Sunday and a lot cooler next week.

Bootiful sunny day but boy is that north easterly wind chilly, I though it best not to waste a nice dry day so managed to get some more decking boards replaced before my knees started complaining, the rest can wait for another day. Something wrong with the site or is it my hardware? as I cant post smilies or pictures.

Edit: Ey up it's working fine on my other desktop PC.

Hmmm . . . . something to look forward to. The old boy next door had his latest covid booster yesterday, speaking to him earlier, he spent the evening sitting in the chair with a blanket round him, shivering, still shivering after he went to bed. Woke up this morning, got up and promptly fell back onto the bed again! He was ok-ish by the time I spoke to him around lunchtime.

Cool

What a bootiful day it has been. Got the washing done and hung out on the whirly thing. Banana had her tank topped up with go go juice. Done the shopping, home and all put away.

Got the garden furniture out of the garage. Then done two trips to the tip.
Repotted the mint plant.
Got the washing in and all put away.

Cooked some steak with taters and spinach. And washed down with a drop of Jammy Roo.

I went for lunch with my son, then we drove down to Whitley Bay. It was lovely at the coast today, quite warm , but the sea had run over the beach so there was no on the sand.

Good morning all,

Bad weather and storms in the Cape yesterday with a significant temperature drop.

Two nights ago, woke up with a stinging on lower left leg - the ankle. Must have been sleeping with the foot out.

Something with 2 fangs had bitten the leg in several places, most likely a spider/scorpion, as the snake bite would have been deeper and more painful.

Took a handful of Piriton and Paracetamol to ward off the pain.

We did have a scorpion in the bath and hallway a few days ago. Scorpions are plentiful around here - we have seen two in the house.

Always lift the toilet seat before sitting down and always check the sheets before getting into the bed. Shake the shoes out in case of scorpions.

So collected up the scorpions using a long handled toilet brush/ bowl and disposed of outside in the bushes.

What is everyone up to?
