Default Rear Rose joint tool...

I bought this:-

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-3-E36...8AAOSwZoZacvdP

However I just went to use it, and the part of the tool thats meant to push the joint is a nice close fit over the rubber gaitor, but then its 3mm short of butting up against the outer casing of the joint.

What is going on, Ive never seen a tool which relies on pushing the center of a rose joint before. This will damage it surely?

Just waiting for tablet to charge for a pic.

Really annoying. It is the right kit for the right balljoint!

Pic added... sigh...
