Ah well that was "up north" mud we get a different type in Shropshireland.
I have polished out a few scratches, still working on the wheels though |

on the subject of wheels...
'Shadow' apex was on my must have list, However unfortunately the ones on my car were attrocious... (sp) not kerbed, just huge chunks of 'finish' missing  I opted to have the dealer get them done, as I have a mate with a vxr Monaro that has a shadow finish and he shelled out £75 a corner (for a good job) This was out of my budget at the moment. I didn't expect the finnish to be 'original' as the dealer seemed 'in the dark' when I mentioned the process involved,and how hard it was , but I wanted them done so accepted the silver finish I eneded up with. They look fine and suit that car, so will do for now... but I do love the shadow finish....  Nick |

Sorry if this sounds dumb but can you have a shadow finish put on any alloys? I have the 11 spoke straights on my ZT and although nice in silver I would like a shadow chrome finish. I've looked at replacing them with the Apex ones but I really do like the 11 spoke straights, just not the finish! |
