Default Can I use a power washer on the car...

....without fear of blasting the wax off?

Now that I have my car looking nice I dont want to spoil it by blasting all the protection off.

Most Power Washer Nozzles are adjustable - have it at a wide angle or open spray and keep the Nozzle at least 2-3 feet away and it should be fine. Do NOT use the Nozzle that has the little like ball in the end of it that whizzes around - NOT GOOD!

Mine just has a long lance that gives a jet of water. It quite concentrated.

I gave the cow much a quick blast off on saturday night and it seemed ok this morning with the water still beading up.

Cheers guys. Im getting a bit precious about my paintwork now that ive tcutted and polished it.

Tcut was all i had. It did a super job. I did it by hand though, not by machine. It brought out the colour beautifully. Looked like a different car when i finished. Still very happy with it.

Did the cow mind being pressure washed?

If using a pressure washer, try and keep the jet at a 45 degree angle to the panel, never 90 degrees and as already said, keep at least 2/3 feet away.
