Default Washed Chromed and Polished

Finally got around to chroming frontal parts, and think it looks nice myself, I know not everyone likes the chromey bits, but hey ho... I like it. Also gave her two new indicators, all siliconed from new so hopefully no water ingress , will redo the old ones now as spares.

Next jobs once the wind dies down and the sun comes out properly is to add the leds, and extra spots along with tint the windows, then add the rear wind deflectors.

Noticed she is picking up lots of strange scratches......... not small swirls but actual LONG scratches, not deep, but still there on roof and bonnet... must be those jealous euro box drivers, hate having it outbling them when parked next to it

Future must haves will be better wheels, probably aftermarket ones and maybe a different head unit.... Urgent job next is wishbone bush, but need a day when I can take car off the road, not likely to happen till holidays.

I'm glad you've posted a picture because it only dawned on me..AFTER..I'd asked if it had been yourself that I'd seen in Newport that I didn't actually know what car you had

It looks good and that's an unusual colour

Thanks, Yes but not what it appears, was copied from what I found here on the forum, the sticky strip stuff cut to size looks nice and shiny though compared to dull grey that it was before. I also sprayed it with clear laquer to stop any fade.

The lower mesh I sprayed with 3 coats of grey primer, then 4 coats of Chrome Radiator Paint and 2 coats of clear laquer.

Yes its what I call Arctic Coloured.... as his was the first I saw in this colour although he has the Diesel I think.
Its a female colour so I have been informed by many females.....???

Seafrost Blue as seen on Jaguars, so these ladies tell me. Pain in the backside to get paint to match, have a genuine touch up paint but it is almost impossible to match it in without noticing.

I spot plenty around South Wales ( 75's and ZT's ) and apart from Steve811 most do not even acknowledge.....maybe its the female colour that puts most of nodding or finger waving......

Thought Id take the K series out and see why they get slated so much, but I just do not understand what all the fuss is about, looks good enough to eat if you ask me. And to be fair, she really does run Sweet
