I've finally finished my wheel refinishing project which has taken over two weeks, one wheel at a time, tyres on. I sprayed them in my garage with rattle cans of dedicated wheel paint. Kerb damage repair, 2 coats primer, 2-3 coats colour, 2-3 coats clear, hubcaps painted and new badges.
Unfortunately I used the wrong glue on the badges and lost one so had to re-use the best of the old badges. Top tip; Don't use a brittle clue on the badges, use something flexible. Mine are now held on with a lot of silicone adhesive. My wife is now happy as not only does the car look better (She doesn't really care about that) but the house no longer stinks of paint!

LOL!
This card trick has to be the best one ever. If you have ever tried to mask a wheel/tire you will agree. A quick trip to the Dollar Store (Pound Shop to you lot!) for a couple of decks and I was good to go-overspray free. Speaking of "overspray free" here is my Dollar Store $12.00 car cover on my MGF, made from 3 drop sheets and a roll of duct tape.
