Anyone found a make or supplier of Ramps our cars will actually go up?

Has anyone tried running onto a piece of say scaffold planking in front of the ramp? It would have to be shaped to the ramp to stop a drop onto the ramp, but might work.

Just don't do what I nearly did: when replacing the fan motor, I took the bumper off before even trying the ramps (first big job on the car), so that the bumper wouldn't fall far if it fell as I was taking it off, then I put the car on ramps, did the job, & put the bumper back on.

Fortunately, I noticed that it was going to be a bit tight coming off the ramps before I actually started reversing. Good job the handbrake was good! I had to stop halfway down, and jack up one side at a time to get the ramps out, which was slightly easier than taking the bumper off again.........

I had a set of standard ramps modifed by my uncle - my ZT goes up them fine so a 75 should not be a problem either.
