Default Boris, Polluting Drivers Friend?

London Mayor Boris Johnson has scrapped the £25 C-Charge for most Polluting Vehicles,
but at the same time is charging all Low and Zero emission Vehicles to offset.
There was going to be Free Entry for these type Vehicles that has now been Shelved.

He said it was one of his Promises and will also be funded in savings on Legal Cases.
Porsche were about to take it through the Courts.

Nice one Boris!

Thing is this policy was never going to work in the end. Instead of reducing congestion in London, slowly it would have increased as people got more efficient cars then it would be back to square one.

Far better to make it an even playing field.

Never had a problem with congestion driving through central London mind you, blue lights and sirens work wonders

Russ

The only thing with Russ is he has to keep his head from sticking out the window or they will think it is a cattle truck

Wish it had been, last time was years ago in a F*** ( sorry won't swear), did have the very nice Cosworth engine in it though.

True but one suspects that Boris has more friends that drive Porsches than perhaps those who drive eco-bland-green-tree-hugging-snore-mobiles.....

Why on Earth would anybody voluntarily drive in inner London anyway
