Default Navall 3 replacement?

Hello All

It appears after a few years of use my Navall 3 is possibly on its way out, it keeps blacking out during the boot up sequence. I've done a master reset but the problem still persists, if this is unfixable has anyone found a reasonably priced replacement for these Navall units? Preferably one that I can just plug straight in when I take the old Navall out?

Many thanks

I don't know what your definition of reasonable is but if it is around 250GBP you might want to have a look at AndroidIce.co.uk. And if you wait until October ( )this one looks very interesting: https://www.androidice.com/blog/mgzt-android8/
Support is good and seller is trustworthy.

For around 170GBP eBay offers some units but I don't know these sellers or the quality of the products:https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Android-8...D/202760977111

If you really want it dirt cheap and like to gamble, you might want to try this: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33015222043.html. The only guarantee you have is that you will not have any guarantee that it works.

That's great thanks for the info, I'd probably lean towards the Chinese import, be zero customer service if I had problems but that's the risk you take I suppose. 🤔

I wondered if anyone had managed to reflash the software on these Navall units it could possibly solve my problem?

Thanks again mate 🙂

A chap near me bought one of these a couple of months ago for his BMW

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32444751062.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.2468787 bX18pkH&algo_pvid=b5394cbd-1451-4b0b-bfab-f98af2acae31&algo_expid=b5394cbd-1451-4b0b-bfab-f98af2acae31-0&btsid=6cb6ab36-ebd0-4e59-bdb8-a1ae2069e9d4&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb2016 02_2,searchweb201603_52

It boots up quicker than my Naval 3 and seems to work well.

Might be worth seeing if you have anything you can delete off yours, my son deleted a couple of bits on mine I was not using and it has been better since, mine would lock up when I was using the Sat Nav sometimes but is great now.

*snip*

Please note that it is a WinCE unit. Not Android. This means: no additional apps, no app updates and no security updates (which probably is no issue for a car radio ). And a lot more difficult to customise if you are in to such things.

On the other hand: if the device works, it works
