Default 75 Windscreen moving?!

So I drove my 75 for first time in about 3-4 weeks yesterday, as I went down one of our awful British roads, I noticed a creek coming from the top of the windscreen, upon further inspection it seems to be moving within the seal. I can push it forward and back.

It is something anyone has seen before? Is it just a dried out old seal? Does anybody me supply new ones? With the chips that are in the windscreen at the moment I was going to change it anyway.

Thanks 😊

Sounds like an accident waiting to happen. It needs fixing professionally. Check your insurance policy, you might get it done 'free' without loss of any no claims discount. See Yellow Pages for local specialists. Some will handle all the insurance issues so can be relatively hassle-free,

The glass screen is actually glued to the metal frame , with a seal trim fitted to the outside . Yours must have become unglued !
As T-Cut says , you have an accident waiting to happen …….

I only took the car home to leave another here overnight to dry out (a whole other problem but not a Rover its a B...MW ). Its parked under cover at work until spring, getting a few odds and ends done, so I will add that to my list before it comes out to play again.
