Default Beautiful 75 in need of K series engine.

What do you want to do ?
New mailCopy

I have a beautiful Rover 75 PRIVATE PLATE.Connoisseur SE Mk.1 1.8 petrol, manual, that needs another engine due to seizure. Can anyone either replace the engine (or rebuild it for me) or want it for all the parts. It had lots of unusual bits such as -
Real Walnut trim (Augmented on binnacle, door switches, cab light etc.)
Walnut and Leather Steering Wheel, mint condition.
Self-dimming rear view mirror
Electric seat adjustment with two-drivers’ memory
Electric rear screen blind
Fold-down back seat. (Rare)
Serviced Feb 2020.

New clutch at 73k miles
Dual zone climate control
Trip computer/MPG consumption etc.
Private/dateless number plate to remain with vehicle (2001 registered)
Reversing sensors.

These engines are very easy to repair as long as the block isn't damaged, you can get new liners and pistons quite cheaply. If you rebuild it using new parts you get basically a brand new engine again, I've done it on my old K series and it was well worth the effort and expense.
