Diesel FBH owners check intercooler top hose
Just having a wee rummage under the car today.
I noticed the Fbh exhaust was touching the intercooler top hose😱.... It hadn't burned a hole in the hose, but has definitely started making a dent in it.😰 Now, I had fitted a new top hose some time back, ( pre fbh installation). As I have a sensor installed in the top hose, I ordered the single hose, and cut it into 2 sections to suit. It appears my "cuts" did not suit the location of the fbh exhaust.😤 All sorted now, temporarily with a wee bit of fibreglass fire insulation stuffed between the two... Perhaps worth checking......
