Default Raindrops..........

Whilst at work the other night, we had a very heavy downpour, so afterwards I popped out to my car during my Break, which was about 8pm (ish) and took these - with a bog standard Happy Snapper Digital Camera (6MP):

I was trying to catch the Sunset in the background (Bottom left) but sadly couldnt quite get it in

This one was just to show off the Wax job and the fact that the lights reflected on the Bonnet where also reflected in each of the drops of rain, cannot really make them out in this smaller version (Original is 2048 x 1536)

and this one, well, I just had to show off the reflections in the Polishing job

Thanks - Looking forward to meeting everyone here at the meet and hopefully picking up a few "Care tips"

The Care Cleaning above is made up of the following:

Hose down with water

Shampoo wash with Auto glym Bodywork Shampoo and a woolly fibre sponge

Rinse with hose and a clean woolly fibre sponge

Wipe dry with the Auto Glym Aqua Dry Cloth (followed by a quick drive round teh block to blow out water from seams etc)

another check and wipe with the Aqua Dry

Hand applied Auto Glym Super Resin Polish and removed by hand using Auto Glym Polishing Cloths

then an application of Auto Glym Ultra Wax, applied by machine and then removed by hand followed by a Buffing with the machine.

Thats followed by a hand application of Auto Glym Extra Gloss Protection applied by machine, removed by hand and then buffed again by machine.

A long job, done with a labour of love for my car

All other jobs are done using Auto Glym products, from Seats through to Carpet Shampoo and the Wiper Arms and all Black plastic areas are treated with a Cockpit Shine spray to sharpen and darken the colour, giving a "new" look.........

Couple of my fave water beading pics...

Audi A4 (Polished with Final Finish, primed with Zymol HD Cleanse, Sealed with Chem Guys WMF, Waxed with 2 layers of collinite)

And a quick one of my old car

(polished with Intensive Polish, finished off with Final Finish and waxed with Nattys Blue Paste Wax)

Reflection and beading!

I love the size of the waterbeads on this one!

What's snowfoam??, soapy water?. Love the photo's with the beading on the bodywork, really satisfying when it rains the next day after polishing.
I've been putting Rain-X on my windows for years and the beading from this is great, the wind blowing the rain off the windows is just a plus!
