I used to love noseying round old places many, many years ago, the days before CCTV, barbed wire & security guards.

Being brought up on RAF bases there was always somewhere to explore, and one of my old schools in Germany had once been a Hospital & Gestapo HQ. Loads to see & do there.

You a fan of the 28 days later site? I spend many an hour looking through that place.

I know a group has done the art deco 1930s military building on top of Portsdown hill just outside Portsmouth. I was told the pics were going onto 28 days but have never found them, if anyone knows where they are could they let me know please.

Cheers

Ken

Urbex is one of the reasons I invested in a new camera - Birmingham is teeming with hidden gems that I would love to have a look at.
