The TVR club had a meet there at the same time, what a treat the sound of those boys heading out onto an escorted lap of the track.
My one visit was for a VX promo day.

Test drove some cars then was taken round in a Cosworth

Wooooosh...

Be on the cautious side re clothing, Knockhill can be a cold irrespective of the weather around the place.

It's the top of a hill and is always blowing a gale. I've been quite a few times and it's always always cold, never had snow. Even in the middle of summer! Fine if you can find a wee wind break.

A cracking view down to the Forth and the bridges though.

Don't worry, I'm well versed in race circuit weather apparel

If you've ever been to Spa and experienced the micro climate there in the middle of the Ardennes forest, your prepared for anywhere

Isn't that where they make the pate?

Spa! That's just showing off! Here's me thinking Fife was exotic. Certainly cheaper, and nearer......

If I manage to make it I'll keep an eye out for you. That's certainly our plan just now anyway.

We'll be there but Sunday only, spending Saturday in Glasgow sightseeing with Michelle and Kenny.
You flying up Jeff?
Cheers Ian

We are indeed Ian,

Probably flying up Friday after work and hoping to go with my Dad back to Helensburgh and Faslane to see my birthplace and where my Dad worked when he was a Submariner in the Navy

Many thanks for putting the idea in my head as well
Hope to catch up with you on the Sunday then
