I reckon if the elected representatives of Aberdeen were to cut their inflated salaries and self opinions for one year, it would not cost the residents that £2 a week. Then the Granite City would truly retain it's reputation of a City built on local stone, built by local enterprise.
But then again, I'm a Southerner so what do I know about politics North of the border.
Regardless of borders it seems councils etc are obliged by law to gain best value for the rate/taxpayer .

It would seem thats whats happened here


That apart it still seems totally wrong but hey what do i know.
