No here's an emotive subject. Favourite car eh?
Times change, expectations change, our age definitely changes. What was the dog's danglies in 19XX probably wouldn't hack it today, but if you are a car nut, as I think many on here are, then the mists of time may endow many of our previous steeds with virtues that they probably didn't posess. I have had more motors than I can even remember, but if I had to give an informed opinion on my favourite car over the years (taking into account excitement, useability, running costs, smiles per mile), it would have to be my 1987 (I think) Turbo-Technics Ford Sierra XR 4X4. It had everything you could ask for, performance, handling, space, comfort, excitement, and would probably hold it's own with anything on the road today. OK, it was a Ford, but what a Ford! Mick |

I used to love my Granada Scorpio 24V 3 litre Cosworth,
Now my Son has that and still running fine after 170,000 miles. |

Humber Snipe or Sceptre? I'm probably totally wrong. The engine's definitely a Rover V8 though.

As already said, it's difficult to pick a favourite car due to totally different technologies and the way we use them etc. My favourite car from my yoof was my 1.6GL Ford Capri with my "improved" 2.0l Pinto engine in place. Quite fast actually! My favourite car pre-ZT was most definitely my 200Vi which was like the proverbial brown stuff off a navvy's implement. And very shiny too in Tahiti Blue '93.
The ZT is now my favourite car, obviously.
