Under bonnet pump on way out as well?
I know I need a new in tank pump but mine needs at least half a tank left in it rather than the quarter tank as advised. Does this suggest that the UB pump is therefore going as well? Car has done 165,000 miles now. Thanks.

Hi Colly, I had a similar problem with my ITP and UBP. My problem escalated when the UBP started playing up all them time and would not deliver enough fuel. Changed both pumps and (knock on wood) didn't have any problems since.

My car had a similar problem at 90k, changed both pumps (belt and braces) and all was fine, now the car has 121k and I am hoping they will last another couple of years, however components can give way at any time.
