Another airline goes Bankrupt
Troubled Italian Airline Alitalia has applied for bankruptcy protection to prevent Creditors seizing its planes.
It has effectively declared itself Insolvent. It is currently running flights on a Government state loan of 300 Million euros. An administrator has been appointed, and the Planes will continue to fly, while a radical overhaul of its operations are carried out or a new Owner sought.
