How to fix sill trims, easily
Yes I know you're supposed to slide these things on and off, but lacking three hands I always find this simple job annoyingly frustrating. So forget slide, lever out the old fir-tree clips - a trim clip pliers works best - place the new clips in the sill cover and align with the holes. Now take the Zummerzet Patented Profile Block and mallet in. A 30 second job.

A good and well practised method, but also worth just checking to see if the profile of the trim is true. I would lay them down and check to see if they are bowed, often they are. A brief session with the hot air gun will assist in truing them up. Then the above technique is also favoured.
