Default xenon headlights

Hi ,
I'm currently away from home again, so I cant access my MG Car records.

Hence my enquiry.

My Wife has informed me after the weekly scheduled start-up to temp, then a 5 mile 2nd and 3rd gear drive up and down hill and full use of every possible feature and accessory on my My MG ZTT CDti 135. Auto.

That the Xenon N/S Headlight is PINK and obviously Dud on its way out.
Great being married to a Nuclear fusion / fission Engineer and lecturer even though she cant understand the love affair I have with My MG 2nd car. Even though she knows all the chemical gas metal particle reactions involved in Xenon bulbs.

She at least also knows Brunel's basic engineering applicable to our cars.

She has her Handbags and Shoes that cost more than my MG,So she doesn't have a leg to stand on especially when im going to spend £ 2000 in the next month on Suspension, CV joints, double gearbox oil and engine oil / air / fuel filters tax ins mot etc etc . not all necessary but preventative.

Anyway"I think from memory" without looking at my records that the Xenon bulbs are DS2 600K .?

Can Any 1st hand specific technicaly correct knowledgeable "DOCTORS" or members confirm this prescription is right or wrong. So I can order them whilst away from home.

Because as you will know its a pain in the butt. bumper off headlight unit removed , ballast pack removed before even getting to the bulbs etc etc.
which I will obviously replace in pairs.

Thankyou in anticipation. Paul.

P.s This is not a LONELY Hearts All enters SOCIAL THREAD, I can get opinions and views from my local bus stop.! I am looking for FACTS. Thankyou for your restraint.

The fitment is DS2, I believe the original colour temperature was 4600K.

Thankyou sir, for your reassuring spot on info.

Its now come back to me, I remember seeing a light comparison video demonstration about 10 years ago and went for the 600k being a little brighter and giving better viewable range without going bonkers with 800k or 1000k.

Thanks again. Paul.
