Default How to buy xpart 116-131bhp upgrade?

Hi, thanks for any replies! I'm having trouble locating the power upgrade kit for my CDT. I have a guy locally who has all the rover diagnostic kit so just need the £199 CD. Xpart website is a maze that doesn't lead anywhere, my nearest service centre haven't heard of it and when I called xpart they gave me a number of another dealer who also hadn't heard of it but eventually said they were on back order.

I do have the synergy btw (fitted by Jules), just want a bit more for safe overtakes, cheers, Phil

Get a Synergy2 from RoverRon, then you can adjust it to your liking, and either keep it for another car, or sell it if you decide to sell the car you have now.

The part number you need for the X-power upgrade is VUF000010 £199 + vat
= £234.99.
Kit consists of CD, unlock code sheet, T4 Instruction sheet, and the door pillar sticker.

Certainly makes a difference and with the Synergy should be getting approx 155bhp.

If you get it done would it be possible to pm me your vin and unlock code please as we are compiling a list of these for research to see if we can figure out how the code is generated. (data will be kept private)

Russ

Thanks BigRuss - will be glad to help you out. Do you have any idea who can sell me this kit please? Xpart won't deal with me - apparently they are trade only. Cheers, Phil

Hi Phil, Rimmer brothers have it listed or if you go to your local X-part centre they will order it for you the parts counters are available to all.

It may be that the on-line sales are trade only

My local X-part centre is only a mile away so I haven't used the on-line system.

Thanks Russ - Rimmers are showing item in stock but they don't have any. They are trying to get me one - I will post here if I have any luck!

James, no worries - country roads don't always allow much time for overtakes and Corsas are everywhere!

Evening James

I fitted the Synergy to Sgt Bilko's ZT when he first bought it, but he understandably still wants more power so he can overtake Mrs Jules's Standard 131 (with Synergy)
