Ok, final results of the door cappings fitment are now in my gallery. I have done the driver's side, just waiting for the passenger's side varnish to dry - I had to shorten the front ones! It won't be to everyone's taste but I am happy with it and it has been a welcome distraction!

Yup, I still think they look fantastic!

Any chance of a closer photo of the front one Zeb?

Looks good Zeb.

Rather than shortening the cappings for the front, would it be possible to remove the raised chrome ferrel from the door button and then drill a hole in the capping for the button? Removing the ferrel would allow the capping to sit evenly on top of the door panel.

In fact, would any of the Montego cappings be long enough to do this on the rear doors too?

I thought about that for front and back. Quite possible with the lengths off the Montego....but then I like chrome too! I do not think it would sit evenly even if it was done that way however...the door top is slightly curved.

Looks good Zeb. From the pictures, it looks very OEM and very proffesional. I like it.
