1200mph? From a diesel!!? Wanna swap? I'll assume you meant mpg, but I meant that mine stayed above 60mpg for many miles (Woolley Edge services IIRC) till I got off near Mansfield, so it is possible if you can do all motorway and avoid big hills. Mind you, as I don't actually live on the motorway, it does come down quite a bit in the few miles between, so my figures are probably not much higher than yours. No idea about commuting as I use the train.

I got 560 miles from a tank of diesel once, but average is 500.
My 2 litre KV6 used to get me 450 miles on a regular basis. Sometimes the IPK has a funny turn when reset; the other day I found myself doing 261 mpg, which went up to 276 before sorting itself out! Normally varies between 40 & 45 though. Last edited by nomzamo999; 23rd September 2014 at 07:35.. |

I've had 672 miles on a run up to Scotland, when I filled up there was only just over a litre left!! Mine is also an auto albeit a very economical one!

i can do a round trip from Torquay to Weymouth roughly 210 miles on quarter of a tank doing average speed of 65 to 70 mph so my reckoning about 800 plus miles a full tank.....a lot better than the Citroen Picasso i used to own

Last week I filled up after 615 miles and brimmed it back up! Putting in 56.75 litres so had a bit left Really happy with that considering the MAF is disconnected and the temperature gauge never guite makes it to the quarter to position.

This year on a continental trip, i got 57mpg for one brim to brim fill up.On the assumption that i could maintain that, i would get 800 miles per tank.
