They look the same as the ones, I fitted, but I got two sets of 2 bulbs (so I now have a spare set of 2 bulbs).

Can anyone who's fitted CCFLs to the projector lens collar confirm the internal diameter?
I have them down as 90mm. I know you can buy them somewhat cheaper in pairs from China. How did you wire them up from a single inverter? Is the high tension wiring safe? TC |

They look excellent. I remember AldoR doing that to his V8 about 3 years ago. He posted some detailed photos of how the lights looked when they were taken apart but didn't do it himself IIRC.
Found the thread and I see it had some updated traffic on it a few months ago. http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ght=Angel+Eyes Derek

I'm wondering about the extension wiring needed to connect one or both to the inverter, depending on where you locate it. The wiring to the rings operates at 200volts plus I believe, so needs more safety measures in place than your average lamp. The PVC encased silicone leads they come with aren't long enough (to fit both) and you're advised not to modify them (for safety reasons). The two rings/one inverter kit is for fitting as one double-ring lamp.
So, I bought an inverter for each ring to ensure safety. TC Last edited by T-Cut; 27th November 2013 at 18:30.. |
