Default Not a rover question but help

Can anyone help.
Is a Renault Clio Iso adapter going to be exactly the same as one for a fiat punto.
After market Stereo was working fine in the punto, took it out and fitted it in my daughters new caw the Clio with the iso lead I'd used in the punto and it's not working ??
Stereo in the Clio was working fine. Have checked all the fuses and no issues there ?
A few pictures below.

First is the punto connections
Second is the Clio
Third is the Iso connector

Try swapping out the bullet connectors for the red and the yellow leads. So red goes to yellow, and yellow goes to red. It is a long shot, because it should still work, just not store the stations etc. I know you have tried the fuses already.

It isnt one of the iMusic Clios? I dont know if any of the wiring in those is different, but an ISO by its very existence should be the same across cars.

No it's not imusic. I contacted the company on eBay and they said there can be some differences even if the plugs all fit. He said wit till I receive the new one from him for the Clio and take it from there. Fingers crossed.

The only differences are for switched live and permanent live. From memory, the Renault uses the thick red cable as permanent live, and the iso red is switched. Other slight differences (as you can see) are for lighting, but if they are not connected they shouldnt make any difference. When the lighting is different, the only issue this raises is that the stereo doesnt light up at all, but works as it should. The remedy for that, is to patch the lighting into the switched wiring.
