The first day has been a busy one with many new owners visiting the stand as well as existing members coming to see the cars and have a chat.
Here are a few pictures of the day so far, free sweets too (while they last) And we had a very special visitor come to the stand, no less than Richard Woolley the original designer of the 75. He was entirely responsible for the shape and style of the cars we all love. He doesn’t have a 75 currently but is on the look out for one and was taken back 20 years when he sat behind the wheel of the club’s S reg OVP He even found the time to sign our new calendar |

Thanks for posting the photos. It was great meeting the folks on the club stand today and, needless to say, the 4 cars representing the club all looked oustanding. A terrific job from all involved
A few photos from me: OVP engine bay is still a "work in prtogress". Here's what it looked like earlier this year: Back to the club stand: Cliff

A video from John Clancy featuring the Rover stands starting with our club stand, you might remember the really good interview he did with Gerry and his coupe at the Practical Classics show in March.
The cars are looking great guys |

Jim, you're a Legend. Even when you don't attend an event, you manage to pull a video out from somewhere. I'm calling it witchcraft!
Thanks for finding and posting the video. You won't be surprised to learn that my efforts were once again less than stellar. Don't know if it was due to the lighting, of perhaps a setting I had inadvertently clicked, but all my footage has a soft, fuzzy, and decidedly "non HD" look about it. I suspect it will be consigned to the digital trash can on this occasion. Boy, do we need you back to full fitness . Cliff

Sorry to hear that you are disappointed with what you shot yesterday, I'd try"sharpening" the footage to see if that helps, it's amazing what a few filters and effects can do . I'll let you into a secret all my videos are filtered with video effect buttons Sharpen and Saturation Adjust prior to editing . Off to the doctors on Tuesday for blood tests again, hopefully they'll then get to the bottom of what's wrong with my ankles and legs, followed by an appointment at the Urology Clinic on the 28th to discuss my prostrate and bladder issues and possible treatment. Lilian will be so over the moon when she sees it, I have bought a spare one and will be sending it to her. Hopefully we shall be seeing most of you in the new year. Visited the stand today with my new MG convert George. Nice to meet Bob (Flying Bannana) and share thoughts. Lovely to see the Tangerine Dream too.
We’re off to Brotton, nr Middlesbrough to collect an Ignition Blue ZT Ctdi with a scarce Sumit blue interior. Georges first ‘proper Mans car’!

Had a great couple of days helping out with our stand.
All our cars looked stunning - well done. Great to catch up with friends old and new and of course speaking to the public. Our cars hold a special place for a lot of people. A few snaps from Friday and Saturday https://photos.app.goo.gl/K4SXF1Hucn1LfJ2U7 |
