Default Possible duotone?

Would I be correct to assume that the only official factory duotone combinations are on the 'many colours' thread?.

Have come across an advert for a X plate 75 diesel 'put back on the road project' with what looks like light blue over dark. No other info atm tho.

Havent seen in the flesh and no paint code info but might find out - if it could be a factory paint.

Any thoughts?

I'd have thought your best option is to find out what the paint code is on the body plate. At least then you'll know what it should have been from the factory.
There have been a few supposed duotones for sale around recently, that weren't factory ones.

If I am not mistaken, nearly all of the duotone colours were dark colour over light colour.

This was the only factory produced dark blue over light blue Duotone.

As far as it is known only dark colours over dark colours were built by MG Rover.

Rover did not produce any Duotones from Cowley, as far as we know.

MG Rover produced one Blue over Silver Duotone for the Motor Show in 2002/2003 and the no more until late 2003/early 2004 when they were offered for sale to the public.
