Cool Why, oh! why?

On way home from Dorset I stopped at Winchester services for a coffee. Parked furthest point away from everyone else. I had not even got out of the car when a small van parked beside me. So close the driver struggled to get out.

I got out and asked him, "why park so close?"

Answer I got was, " I park where I ******* like". And off he went. I got back in and moved car away to another bay. Went in for coffe end when I came out, he had moved the van and was parked alongside me again. No sign of him anywhere.

I'm not a violent person but did feel like doing something to the van. But thought better of it and drove out.

Yey, sounds like hes got an attitude problem.

I tend to park in end bays next where there is no car park space so thats at least one side of the car is protected from idiots. Also I never park next to;
  • Cars with child seats in
  • People Carriers
  • Convertables
  • Single women type cars
  • Two door cars
  • Unkempt cars
  • Cars parked at an angle
  • Vans
  • Company car type cars.
  • Jags (dont want by car parked next to riff raff)
  • German cars

You did the right thing to walk away; never argue or engage with an idiot, they will lower you to their level and beat you with experience.

Stay classy in your classy car

What a complete Bafoon that chap is!

Obviously by his behaviour he was spoiling for an argument, best left to stew in their own juices that type of person.

So many people now are both discourteous and aggressive, I wonder why that is? A little while ago I was on a busy road travelling very slowly in a line of traffic. There were about five cars trying to join the line from a side road on the right, I stopped and let the first one in, and the line had only moved a short way so I let in the second and third, then the white van man behind me started hooting and shouting and waving his fist. So I let the rest in and he seemed almost incandescent with rage even though it would have made no significant difference to his journey time.
