Good morning everyone.
Sunny but the clouds are gathering for a fight I expect. Hoping to carry on with sorting the garage out this morning.

Fine picture Sir. It's lousy weather here, The rain had been lashing the bedroom windows for most of the night, If it wasn't for the cats deciding it was time I got up I'd have happily stayed in bed. Lots of standing water about here.

Morning men - it's dried up a bit here with just a small hint of sun in the distance - but it's still perishing cold. I keep thinking about putting the heating on, but then preservation of financial funds takes precedence over body heat

Glad you was only thinking of putting the heating on. I’ve had to stop thinking.

Just sneaked a look at the thermostat/control unit in the hall - it's showing 13.5°C

Evening all, today we had my aunt's funeral and laid her to rest finally. Ever8went well, the service presented by the priest was lovely, a fitting tribute, and very well attended. The church is quite big, and was almost full.
I had only been home about 15 mins and had just thought that now we could start to unwind. Fat chance!! A phone call from someone involved with the family put paid to that. I won't go into detail but lets just say the grave would hardly have time to filled in before the call came. I couldn't believe that anyone could stoop so low and so soon.
