Probably too late now, but according to the K engine strip down, it say fit new patchlok bolts and tighten down to 80nm? Found here http://www.vgkracing.com/k%20engine%20EU3.pdf page 54. Hopefully someone else can come along and confirm, but I have just checked Haynes, and it says, flywheel cover plate bolts, 9nm / 7 lbf ft and for the flywheel driveplate bolts its 80nm / 59 lbf ft, they also star ** the fact you need to use New Bolts and clean the old adhesive from threaded holes in crankshaft. Sorry the reply is late. |

God knows how the main seal got into that state!
Hopefully you can get some trouble free miles out of it now! Touch wood since I did all my hoses earlier in the year I've not had any problems at all

Well I did think maybe the parts were along the lines of cold air intake, but there are too many joins, so I am now taking a guess at Something to do with Turbo, and diverting heat? or something fancy for the cooling system?
Or intercooler? Something like that?? Last edited by Seafrost; 17th July 2014 at 21:47.. |
