piston rings
Its a 54 plate in firefrost red ,looking at the pictures of it it looks in good nick ,guy says its burning lots of oil and there is a lot of smoke when it drives ,its a 1.8 turbo 76000 on clock mot till febuary next year

That's nowt for rings, unless it's been totally thrashed in all it's entire life. I'd still put my money on the HG or maybe the turbo.

Turbo almost certainly if it's blue smoke.

Already own a v6 might be in the market for a 1.8 75 or zt as had hours cut in work so think the 6 running costs tax so forth bit expensive .wife wants me to get a focus or a nice Renault megane she says ! never I want to stay in the rover mg family
