Default mgzt+ 1.8 turbo.

Hi all .
Ive just brought a mgzt+ its the 1.8 turbo k series engine. Its had a new head gasket (Uprated multi layer steel one) it has also had a new garret turbo fitted, and a powerflo full stainless steel exaust . Its been well maintained with full service history.
I have found that it is leaking water but im not sure where from. There is no water in the oil and no oil in the water.
Im looking for someone near the pendeford area in Wolverhampton who can take a look and possibly fix it for me. I live in pendeford but I can travel.
Thankyou in advance
Craig

Check the inlet manifold. Mine was leaking. Easy fix.

If it's an MLS gasket and the liners are low then I wouldn't be surprised if head gasket was your issue...

Usual giveaway for an inlet manifold gasket is rough running for a few seconds when started.

Thumbs up TS Autos.

Hi,

Take it to Terry Shaw at TS Autos in Stourbridge, he will sort it out for you!

Terry's forgotten more than most will ever know about fixing our cars.

Regards,

Tom.
