Default underneath inlet manifold

anyone remind me please

underneath the inlet manifold (1.8 Turbo) there are two threaded holes. Can't remember what was bolted onto there ? Water pipe maybe ?

Just trying to work out space to fit some direct port nitrous injectors and need them as close to head as possible.

Yep coolant hard pipe. Also a threaded hole for wiring loom support on the manifold itself.

Nothing an angle grinder can't cure!

Does turbo fit behind the rad?

we're soon to find out.
To me i think it will, but i wasn't expecting it to. Was thinking it would be more located above gearbox but now having it in hand it might go.

still options to reverse it as may also be able to route one of the intercooler feeds under the power steering pump if the hot side of turbo doesn't get in the way (or is reversed).

I'm sure you'll come up with something, there's heaps o room in the engine bay, it's just keeping the pipe work simple which may be a challenge.
