I have no interest in owning this car, as one is more than enough. But am happy to help in this instance. Paul, in regard to the S reg in Dorchester Red, I have not received any replies back from its current owner, or from the previous owner. I can only guess the car is no longer for sale. Blankety blank!

Out of interest, how many Wedgwood launch cars were there, in total?
Was it one per dealership, or did larger franchises get more?
Inquiring minds need to know!
Thanks

As far as I can see there appear to be 848 worldwide. As for whether each dealership got one only, probably though I can't say for sure. I was talking to a sales manager of a dealers in the west country on the weekend, and he said each dealership was given a launch car. They replaced the 15 inch Crown alloys for 17 inch Serpents on thier car so it matched the press images. Theirs was kept in the showroom, and they had a lower spec variant for customer demonstration test drives.

More of that later......

Thanks Paul, that's valuable evidence that all the launch cars were supplied ex-factory with Crown wheels.

So in that regard, launch cars are probably the most common spec!
