I have today found yet another issue, which could mean the end of the road... I am sure that they can be brilliant, but to be honest with you its the last K series I will own for a good while. Certainly not as a day to day car anyway... Quote:
We shall see where we go next I guess... I am not a newbie with these cars and know the pro's and cons of most models now... If I were to go for another it would probably be a diesel....

Just give it a few months mate, if you still feel the same then sell it. Don't make any rash decisions that you may regret.
I know how you feel, I had a ZR that went through a problematic, and expensive, period. Felt like touching the ****** thing, but I didn't. And it turned out to be one of the best cars I've ever had. So chin up pal, it'll all come good :-) |

Unfortunately, the issue found today may mean a decision has to be made sooner than I thought... I will get it checked over and see what the result is....

I feel the same about my current ZTT - it needs a fair bit of work, and I've only had it a few months.
I'm currently pottering around in a ZS180 and it's lovely having the extra power, however I do miss the ZTT. I know I won't be able to give up my cruise control on the massive loadspace of the Tourer.

Such a shame when they turn out to be a pain in the a***! I have had a v6 connie se 19k mile'er-nice; then got zt-t diesel auto-brilliant with a tuning box on it-I kept looking at other stuff and came to the conclusion that I would only get some-thing "better" if I was to put another load of ££--it got written of recently I was very ticked of about -so got myself a connie se cdit auto with 80k on it-got it phil-t ed 160ed-and guess what Brilliant!!
The Moral of the Story - There is nothing better out there for the £££ |

Suspect oil leak. Not liking the look of where it's coming from either.
Will get it checked out and see what's said. Guess I will take it from there.

The Flying Banana has made it to 135,000. Yes she's been a pain but she is great to drive and I love her to bits. Try and stick with it Pete, I know it ain't easy, but you'll get there.
Of course you could always get a V8.

Correct... The V8 is the only one I have not owned... Beginning to wish I had bought one.... I reckon it would of been cheaper in the long run
