Latest update: Got the local garage to rub down the underside, waxoyl all the chassis legs and inside the sills and underseal everything.
Need to get a picture - it looks great now :-) and all for £175 (Bear in mind due to arthritis I find it very hard to get under the car these days...) All ready for the winter.

Superb looking motor trev but just watch that club sticker don't wash off in the rain cause I'm quite sure it's suppose to to go inside the window.

>>>no smoke visible from the exhaust apparently.<<<
You can soon fix that! get a booster fitted, and give it loads of welly innit... The best way to test for smoke is to go on a motorway after dark and shove the pedal to the floor. If you can still see vehicle lights in your rear view mirror, then you need to put the tuner on a higher number innit... ... |

Bumper Off....
Bit of sunshine today so I thought I'd have a look at the 75...
O/S headlamp bulb blew a couple of days ago so I got the old bulb out through the window in the wheel arch lining. Then I tried to refit the new bulb and after a fiddle managed to drop it into the headlamp casing Even my trusty new telescopic magnet couldn't get to it, so I had to finally bite the bullet and get the front bumper off... There were a few stubborn screws but it came off in the end. Once the headlamp was sorted and re fitted I got the bumper beam and slam panel off and started looking at the failed radiator fan. Unfortunately after some faffing with the wires I didn't finish that job, but whilst I was down there I found a hole in the intercooler on the O/S front upper corner and the new Viton O-rings were hanging out (I think from my fiddling at the recent Nano...) So I stuck a self tapping screw in the hole and re fitted the intercooler bend properly... She now pulls well from 1300 rpm, whereas it was a bit flat under 2000 rpm before. Result! Bumper is back on (with a few less screws fitted to make it easier next time) and I hope to change the fan soon... More progress, still loving my 75

Replaced the radiator fan at the Nano meet :-) thanks Steve (Arctic)
I was getting good at getting the front bumper on and off when I spotted a copperleaf saloon breaking in Birmingham (Thanks Chris!) So I went and bought a new rust free bonnet and a stone chip free bumper, as well as some later headlights with good lenses... I also got a replacement interior light and passenger door seal too. Just need a few touch ups and an all over machine polish.... and a 160 remap
