Probably.

I do really like my white-backlit MG dials as they are though, they are just perfect!

I will try and come up with something though... I was considering a monochrome union jack theme for the car (like Mini do), but the truth is I like it as it is!

mono union flag (it's only a jack when flown from a ship) in carbon grey fades against a standard MG dial set.... mmmmmmm
may even be able to match X-power grey and give you the x-power MG logo....mmmmmmm butterrrrrrrrrr

Well if you can come up with something classy, sticking to monochrome and based on an MG and Union Jack theme then great! Not sure on carbon mind. I'll have a look online for inspiration when I get home from work, I'm a picky ******* and would hate to waste your time...

And your Union Jack pedantry is misplaced
