was cleaning up the block face ready for new head.
Number 3 liner has big scoring marks where it looks like a ring has picked up.

Could just do the liners and rings, but hey even the mrs said may as well do what you wanted to anyway...........

So, now spending the afternoon pricing up steel crank, rods, pistons etc

Good job I still love MG's !!!!!!!!!

already discussed a suitable 2.0 overbored fully forged engine and much more reasonable than i was expecting. mmmmmmmmm
